Status: Available

Tier: Agency tier only ($799+/mo). Cancel your standalone Dropbox Sign subscription and use ours instead.

Per-user: Yes — each teammate signs in with their own Dropbox Sign account, so signature requests come from them personally.

Before you start

  • A paid Dropbox Sign account (formerly HelloSign). Free trial accounts can authenticate but have a 3-document/month send limit imposed by Dropbox Sign — fine for testing, not for production.
  • You must be on the Agency tier in ClientPulse. Lower tiers see a "Agency tier ($799+) unlocks e-signature" message instead of a Connect button.
  • Cost: Free on ClientPulse's side. ClientPulse handles the Dropbox Sign developer app — you don't need to register your own. Dropbox Sign Essentials starts at €15/user/month — see https://www.dropbox.com/sign/pricing.

How to connect (≈30 seconds)

  1. Open https://clientpulse.helloaurora.ai/dashboard/integrations and scroll to the E-signature section.
  2. Find the Dropbox Sign card and click Connect Dropbox Sign. Screenshot to be addedIntegrations page with Dropbox Sign card highlighted
  3. You'll be redirected to Dropbox Sign. Sign in with the account you want signature requests to come from, review the permissions (account_access, signature_request_access), and click Allow access. Screenshot to be addedDropbox Sign OAuth consent screen showing the two scopes
  4. Dropbox Sign redirects you back to /dashboard/integrations. The card flips to Connected as you@your-agency.com.

That's it. No app to create, no API key to paste.

Open any client → Contracts → New signature request. The composer should let you upload a PDF, drop signature fields, and send. After the signer signs, the completed PDF appears under Client → Files → Contracts within a minute or two.

What you can do with it once connected

  • Send contracts for e-signature directly from a client page in CP.
  • Track signature status (sent / viewed / signed / declined) on the client timeline.
  • Auto-archive signed PDFs into the client vault.

Common pitfalls

  • Pitfall: "Configuration required" message instead of a Connect button. Fix: This only appears on self-hosted ClientPulse deployments where the operator hasn't set the Dropbox Sign OAuth env vars. If you see this on shared cloud (clientpulse.helloaurora.ai), email support@helloaurora.ai.
  • Pitfall: "Agency tier ($799+) unlocks e-signature" message. Fix: Upgrade your ClientPulse plan at https://clientpulse.helloaurora.ai/dashboard/billing.
  • Pitfall: Signature request sends but recipient says they got no email. Fix: Check your Dropbox Sign account's spam-block list and verify the recipient's email is correct. Dropbox Sign sends from no-reply@hellosign.com — sometimes blocked by corporate spam filters.
  • Pitfall: Signed PDF doesn't appear in the client vault. Fix: ClientPulse polls signature status every 15 minutes. If it's been longer, open the client → Contracts → click Refresh status to force a sync. If still nothing, email support@helloaurora.ai with the request ID.

Restrictions

  • Each teammate connects their own Dropbox Sign account. The "from" name on the email is whoever's account is connected.
  • ClientPulse never deletes or modifies your existing Dropbox Sign templates or in-flight requests — it only creates new ones.
  • Disconnecting stops new requests but does NOT cancel in-flight ones; those continue inside Dropbox Sign itself.

Advanced: bring your own Dropbox Sign developer app (optional, almost no one needs this)

Most agencies should stop reading here. The default ClientPulse Dropbox Sign app works for 99% of use cases.

If you specifically want requests sent under your own Dropbox Sign integration (e.g. for an enterprise tenant that requires every API consumer to be registered with your Dropbox Sign account), email support@helloaurora.ai.
