What it does in ClientPulse: Pulls your Zoom cloud recordings + transcripts so Aurora can summarise the conversation and surface what was agreed on each client call.
Status: Available
Tier: Available on all plans
Per-user: Yes — each teammate connects their own Zoom account.
Before you start (prerequisites)
- Account requirement: A Zoom Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Education plan. The free Zoom plan does NOT support cloud recording, which means there's nothing for ClientPulse to pull.
- Cloud recording must be enabled on your Zoom account, and you must actually be recording your meetings to the cloud (local recordings stay on your laptop and ClientPulse can't see them).
- Cost: Free on ClientPulse's side. ClientPulse handles the Zoom Marketplace app — you don't need to publish your own. Zoom Pro itself starts at €13.99/user/month — see https://zoom.us/pricing.
Step-by-step setup
1. In ClientPulse
- Open https://clientpulse.helloaurora.ai/dashboard/integrations.
- Find the Zoom card. Screenshot to be addedIntegrations page with Zoom card highlighted
- Click Connect Zoom.
2. On Zoom's consent screen
- You're redirected to https://zoom.us/oauth/authorize. Sign in if you aren't already.
- Review the requested permissions:- View your meetings (
meeting:read:list_meetings)- View your recordings list (cloud_recording:read:list_recording_files)- View an individual recording file (cloud_recording:read:recording_file)- View your user information (user:read:user) - Click Allow. Screenshot to be addedZoom consent screen showing the four read-only scopes
- Zoom redirects you back to
/dashboard/integrationswith the connection live.
3. Verify it's working
- The Zoom card flips to Connected as you@your-agency.com.
- Within a few minutes, a "we found X meetings, matched Y to clients" card appears at the top of the page.
- Open a client → their timeline should start showing recent Zoom meetings with a "Summarise this call" affordance.
What you can do with it once connected
- Get an AI-generated summary of every client call (using the Whisper transcription engine you've configured — see whisper.md).
- See the last meeting date per client.
- Surface "agreed action items" extracted from the transcript on the client timeline.
Common pitfalls
- Pitfall: Connected but no recordings appear. Fix: You're probably on the Zoom free plan, OR cloud recording is off. Open https://zoom.us/profile/setting and turn on Cloud recording. From that point forward, new recordings are picked up automatically. Past recordings recorded locally cannot be backfilled.
- Pitfall: "Your account does not have permission to install this app" error. Fix: Your Zoom admin restricts which third-party apps users can install. Ask them to whitelist ClientPulse in the Zoom App Marketplace → Admin → Permissions area, or to install the app at the account level.
- Pitfall: Recordings appear but the transcript is empty. Fix: Zoom only generates audio transcripts on Business plan and above. If you're on Pro, ClientPulse will transcribe the audio itself using your configured Whisper engine — make sure that's set up (see whisper.md).
Restrictions
- Read-only. ClientPulse does NOT schedule or modify Zoom meetings.
- Only cloud recordings are visible. Local recordings stored on your laptop are invisible to ClientPulse.
- Each teammate connects their own Zoom account.
